2-35-P-H-8......JUNKERS JU-86K1.........Original Canadian photo house photo showing the large twin engine bomber in flight, measures 2.5" by 4.5" in excellent condition .....number at lower left corner......the JU-86K1 was an export model of the largely successful design.....interestingly, it was powered by diesel engines that gave it a service ceiling over 40,000' !........$7 |

3-36-P-H-8...... NIGHT HANGAR........ New old stock postcard showing hangar at Wllington Air Field, Texas ........paragraph on reverse mentions " where the unsung men of the Air Corps keep 'em flying at Ellington Field"...."where advanced pilots earn their wings and complete missions, thence to go to fighting fronts all over the world".....I can see at least one AT-6, two C-45's, and what looks like one UC-78 ......card measures 3.25" by 5.25" in excellent contition. and unused.......WWII item...$5 |

4-51-P-H-8.....AMELIA EARHART /HARRY MANNING ORIGINAL PHOTO, 1937......Very rare original photograph of legendary aviatrix Amelia Earhart taken by her only authorized personal photographer, Albert Bresnik......this 10" by 13" image is mounted on 16" by 20" mat and signed in ink personally by Bresnik as well as having his embossed logo in the lower left hand of the photograph.... an affixed (copied) note on reverse of photo by Bresnik states that he was "Amelia Earharts personal photographer" and that "You are in the possession of a valuable photograph of Amelia Earhart taken by myself" ....."in honor of her love of colored scarfs, they are mounted on colored stock"...Bresnik's wife sold us this collection some time ago, and personally wrote out, copied, and affixed this signed and addressed note on the reverse of each photo........ in one of AE's last posed photos, is quite haunting to me - close-up of the interior of the Lockheed and its navigators desk, navigation instruments are clearly visible on the desk...Captain Harry Manning was Amelia's first choice as Navigator for her trip, but he could not take time off from work as a ship captain, so Fred Noonan went instead...here we can see Amelia wearing one of her colorful scarves, just as Mr. Bresnik explained... matted and protected behind plastic, excellent condition high resolution original from Mr. Bresnik's personal collection.....$345 |

6-35-P-H-8.......PERSONAL PHOTO COLLECTION .....Amazing photos of USAAF Officer posing in front of captured Italian bonbers......the same fellow is standing in front of both a large antiquated high wing twin, and a more modern looking metal low wing machine......in the background is visible some other interesting twin engine bomber/attack plane I did not identify......each photo in very good original condition, 2x3" with no VELOX film marking on reverse.....set of 2 photos...$17 |

7-35-P-H-8.........USAAF 8TH SPITFIRES......From a personal photo album, here is proof that the USAAF really DID! operate the Supermarine Spitfire under reverse lend-lease.......several Marks' were used, I am not sure which model these were, but they have 4 blade props.......7 Spit's visible with USAAF insignia painted on the side.....photo measures 2x3" with staple marks on edges..original photo printed on 1940's film...$19.50 |
8-35-P-H-8............HAWKER HORSLEY1.........Photo from long defunt aviaiton photo house of Ontario, it is in excellent condition and measures 2.5" by 4.5"......the Horsely was an interesting 1927 British RAF torpedo and conventional bomber .....it was quite large with a 56' wingspan and Rolls Royce V-12 .....the idea of a large torpedo plane was of course made popular by General Billy Mitchell........$8 |

10-36-P-H-8.....CRASHED McDONNEL BANSHEE ........Few of us remember the F2H Banshee of immediate post WWII, but in many ways, it was the first successful carrier operated jet for the USN......here we have an excellent condition 8" by 10", high resolution photo of a sad looking Banshee..... ground crew and fire fighters inspecting whats left of this bird.....pilot is not in the photo, but was pobably OK, since he didn't eject, and the cockpit looks fine..(other than the shattered canopy)....hard to find much anything about the McDonnell Banshee nowadays, even though some 200 of the planes were built.......$7.50
