-35-P-H-1..........GRUMMAN F7F TIGERCAT RUN-UP.......Take a look at the rounded fin/rudder, this is one of the 'old-ones'.....dramatic hi-resolution 8" by 10" photo shows #407 running up both engines , looking all new and shiny while parked on grass........cannon ports visible on nose......cars in the background help indicate this is a early 'Cat, photograph circa 1945........excellent condition......$35
-35-P-H-1.......... VOUGHT CORSAIR JUNIOR ....Apparently only one of these attractive biplanes was ever built...(you guessed it, this one here!)... an export version two seat version of th V-65, this plane was known as the V-100 and eventually sold to Mexico ...powered by 400 hp P&W with a listed top speed off 155 mph....... press release 8" by 10" ink stamp dated Feb 1935 with original newspaper caption glued on rear of photo...... good condition original from private collection .........$20
-36-P-H-1.......US NAVY JET POWERED SUPER-DIRIGIBLE AIRCRAFT CARRIER CAPABLE OF 300 MPH.......Although this is an artisit's conception of the US Navy 'super-blimp', it looks like something straight out of a Lucas/Spielberg movie....this 1951 dated Acme/ Mechanix Illustrated press release is in excellent condition, measures 7" by 9" with attached typed storyline .....apparently this metal skinned, 1350 foot (quarter mile long) blimp would be powered with 8 jet engines, have a top speed over 300, and launch 'atom bombers' deep into enemy territory......if you look close, those 'small' planes flying alongside the blimp are actually very large B-57 Canberras, and in the nose is a gigantic search radar......I don't know if this thing would have worked, but it would have scared the %^$^$ out of anyone who saw it coming!........photo/press release probably belongs in an archive......$20
-36-P-H-1..... VOUGHT XSBU-1 SCOUT BOMBER ....Original press release photo dated April 1936 with typed caption glued to back.......later known as the Vought Vindicator , only one airplane was built for the Navy (this one here!) and the first flight was in 1936.... this airplane had a retractable landing gear and was Vought’s first monoplane ...very good condition from private collection....8" by 10".....$20
-36-P-H-1........... STINSON YO-54 WWII OBSERVATION PLANE........ Think you know 'em all when it comes to WWII Military planes?........ Stinson Model 10 was plane of choice by private pilot and US ARMY General George Patton, who actually owned a plane himself, a Stinson Model 10 ........strangely, maybe to justify why the General was flying his own plane to inspect US Army training maneuvers, the US Army procured 6 Stinson Model 10's, called them the YO-54 meaning they were an observation plane still undergoing evaluation, and painted 'Stars and Bars' on them...... here is a original WWII press release 5" x 7" photo of one of the 6 planes....rare old photo in good shape....$15
-36-P-H-1............CONVAIR F-102A DELTA DAGGER ....Absolutely stunning view of this 'century series' fighter.... Dagger is in flight above the cloud shrouded snow capped hills...8 by 10" original B & W photo appears to have been an official miliatry photo, as removed from 3 hole binder(note holes)......photo has been 'passed around' showing some wear but would still look great framed......hey, who wouldn't be proud to show this photo off!...... $9
-36-P-H-1....AIRSHOW STEARMAN IN FLIGHT... Captivating and air-to-air photo of 450hp 'Super' Stearman flying over airshow with 'smoke-on' and wing-walker on the top wing!..(look close).....pilot isn't looking at the photo airplane which tells me he definently trusts whoever is flying the photo plane.......(believe me, if you don't trust a pilot you are in formation with, you WILL be watching him!).....gorgeous modern color photo on Fuji-photochrome professional paper measures 8" by 12" .......ready to frame and hang in your favorite den .....excellent condition....$5

-36-P-H-1.......GRUMMAN TBM TARGET TUG AND TRUCK......Original 2.5" by 3.5" photo printed on Velox film ....Here we see tarmac of unknown USN Airfield with Consolidated PBY Catalinas in the background......two TBM's are parked next to each other......side of truck in foreground is marked "Aerial Tow Target and Test Unit" .....undoubtably this was a support vehicle for the TBM's which were employed to tow fabric streamer type 'targets' behind them on rope or cable in order for USN crews to practice live fire (yes Martha, they shot at them with real bullets!)......I have always considered this one of the most dangerous missions of the WWII era....good cond. original.....$4

-36-P-H-1........GOLDEN AGE CROPDUSTING STEARMAN......Looking like a scene from a movie, action photo of 'helmeted' cropduster pilot running up his '450 Stearman' and looking at idling Dehavilland Beaver and 2 more cropduster Stearmans in backgound......the Stearman in foreground is marked CEN(Central I think) on the side of its grime streaked fuselage.......gravel runway with trees....photo measures 8" by 10" with high detail and in good condition, but bottom edge is damaged (see image) and reverse has inked stamp mentioning this is a copyrighted photo and NOT FOR PUBLICATION with more' lawyerese' and marked 'Cowles Magazines, INC. of NY'......I can almost hear the round engines idling......$5
-35-P-H-1......PAN AMERICAN 707........Undoubtably a publicity photo, this beautifully staged photo has the shiny Boeing B-707 streaking over cloud shrouded mountains blanketed in snow.....I can almost hear the stewardess (not yet a flight attendant) asking me if I want another brandy......plane is N707PA .....8" by 10" has some markings on reverse that appear from a photo agency.....high resolution photo has very small chipping in edge, but otherwise good condition....circa 1960's.......$10
