1-47-A-P-4.....STANDARD INDEXED MAP & AIR TRAILS, MISSISSIPPI, 1929.......These were favorites of Barnstormers as they had not only an aeronautical map with landing fields and elevations of state, but list towns with populations, railroad service and telegraph offices ......all to compute the possible customer revenue and order a new prop or some fabric to repair damage which was often the case.........4" by 9" booklet with 41 pages including airports listing for state..........but the foldout map of airfields in the state is missing..........so you just get the book.......advertisement for Alexander Eaglerock Aircraft on back cover.......dated 1929........used, very good condition......$29

2-51-A-P-4...........AIRMANS MAP TORINO 1942....Aerial map compiled by British War Office in 1942 of Northern Italy...marked "Restricted" and devided in to grids for mission co-ordination...full color approx 24 x 28" size...brought home as sovenir by navigator on B-24 from 12th Army Air Force, 340th Bomb Group (H), 486th Bomb Squadron...(this info penciled on margin)...these maps were called "bomber purple" by the aircrew....used but still good cond...fine WW11 display item...$75

CHART CAPE BLANC, FRENCH WEST AFRICA, JUNE 1944.....1:1,000,000 scale topographic full color map of Rio De Oro and Mauritania, legend and notes on reverse side........airports were few and far between on this chart, but there is a light pencil marked flight marked to Port Etienne Aux. Field by way of Villa Cisneros airfield and water airport.....a few other penciled marks on this chart, it is in used very good condition, from collection of WWII transport pilot....... SOLD

5-9-A-P-4 ............SIOUX CITY SECTIONAL CHART DATED APR. 20, 1944........Original appears to be unused since new......with all the WWII warnings such as the one referring to wartime conditions allow for discontinuence or changing , lights, radios navigation etc. without warning!........no pencil markings or damage to the chart or paper.....measures about 2' by just under 4'....excellent condition......$20

SAN ANTONIO SECTIONAL CHART DATED FEB. 12, 1950 ............Quite good condition with some minor evidence of having been used with very light marks, but no rips, tears, stains, raidal engine oil 'splothces' etc........ measures about 2' by 4'with information on reverse such as the airports listed on this chart, and all kinds of other information............SOLD

8-51-A-P-4........NICE........British (Air) War Office,1941 .....Fascinating oil cloth chart has pencil lines marked across (East to West) and hand written 'Poretto 368 freq. 015'....this chart obviously was issued and used by an aircrew in WWII, probably on a mission against Italy by the Brits........map is standard 1-500,000 scale, and includes portions of North Italy through South Italy....La Californie and Gorgona islands, Gulf of Genova, Corse (Corsica) are included......there is annotation on chart that the altitude is in meters and it is marked different than 'RAF Card'.......slight yellowing and obviously handled/used, but overall good condition.....what airplane has this chart flown in? Wellington? Halifax? quite a piece of history.....$45

9-51-A-P-4...........PRAHA.........British (Air) War Office, 2nd edition, 1942.........made of oil cloth......one sided, oil cloth weave is readily apparent on reverse ........map stands 24" tall and 28" wide........ Northeast of the city of Oppelin is, are you ready for this, Hitler Lake! ..........am I correct in guessing that this lake has been renamed? ............ topographical chart is full color, displays numerous cities, roads, rivers, etc.....this is what RAF pilots were carrying in their Lancasters and Mosquitos on their way to Germany .......used with typical creases at fold marks, good condition.......$38

10-51-A-P-4........USAAF WWII GAMBIA RIVER ..........Dated Dec. 1943, this 22" by 28" full color chart is 1:1,000,000 scale (standard WAC chart scale), has world grid (numbering system to tell you which chart goes where- this one is # 697), and legend on reverse......these paper charts were standard issue to 'our boys throughout the War depending on area flown, and are readily recognizable to modern pilots due to similar presentation of data.....airports, topographical, cities, water, etc......very good condition......this chart is Gambia, Africa .......$19
