1-51-A-P-3.......NEW PROVIDENCE ISLAND, BAHAMAS 1949......This 22" by 28" chart is unique in that it was published by THE AERONAUTICAL CHART SERVICE, US ARMY AIR FORCES, WASHINGTON D.C.".......I am not sure if they Navy had their own charts for pilots......coverage includes Andros, Grand Bahamas, San Salvador, Cat, and the islands in-between....dated February 1949......crisp folds with some light staining....$15
2-28-A-P-3.....BORDEAUX WAR CHART WWII ....24" by 32" Europe Air chart by British War Office (who produced most WWII Europe Charts for use by all allies including U.S.)......dated 1942, this is a Second Edition full color single side topographical map in 1:500,000 scale showing Western Central France....printed on 'clothpaper' (paper chart with large weave fabric attached for strength)....roads, rail, water ways, bridges all depicted..... lat./long. coordinates and high-points are also shown....good condition.....$25

4-52-A-P-3.......KIEL, GERMANY WWII .....Published by British War Office (who produced most maps of Europe during WWII for all allies, US included)........printed on 'clothpaper' (paper chart with large weave fabric attached for strength)....roads, rail, water ways, bridges all depicted..... lat./long. coordinates and high-points are also shown.....map shows parts of Germany, Denmark and Sweden...24" by 26"....full color, single sided in good condition.......$25
6-52-A-P-3.......TOULOUSE FRANCE, WWII....... 25" by 33" single sided paper chart marked Europe(Air) 1:500,000 scale........this is a british chart, but is a bit obscure in its identification......it is also different than some charts in that it has additional topographical data in with 'altitude tints' (see inset photo) these tints seem to conform with later charts issued to USAAF crews and commonly referred to as 'bomber purple' due to the purple tinting on chart.......this was done for the purposes of the image to show up well under red/UV lighting used in aircraft during nighttime missions......a note is made on chart that this tinting is 'different from the R.A.F. conventional sign card)......covers approx. 400 square miles in Southern France........dated September 1942.....light staining, good condition.....$35
