ARMY/AIR STYLE......Original new old stock, published by the (British) War Office August 1944.....borders Poland, Czechoslovakia, USSR, Romania, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia, and Hungary.......1:1,000,000 scale (same as WAC chart)..topographical, I didn't realize the mountains here reach to almost 10,000'......excellent new old stock condition.......33" by 25" one sided paper chart.....$27

3-52-A-P-1......USAAF LONG RANGE NAVIGATION CHART MEDITERRANEAN-DEC. 1943........Large 39.5" by 51.5", this full color chart is the kind you would see hanging on the wall of the briefing room with the mission Commander pointing to with his yardstick.......scale 1: 3,000,000, covers the North Center portion of African Continent ......topographical, it also shows all airports by designation, (damn few in the Sahara Desert, RIP Lady Be Good crew)........Tripoli is on here, and South tip of Italay (Sicialia)......map is two sided, it also has b&w maps on reverse of Crete and Malta....original in very good condition, these are hard to find......$55

4-51-A-P-1.......JAN. 1944 PLOTTING CHART NORTH GERMANY.......Large 31" by 43" single sided paper (British) War Office plotting chart is used for charting missions- headings, distances, checkpoints, magnetic variation, etc......these were meant to be written on instead of the actual chart, as a result these were normally disposed of after a mission ......chart is unused original in good condition.....scale 1;1,000,000, and shows roughly a 500 x 800 mile area of North Germany........$28

5-51-A-P-1....TRENGGANU, 1944........(British) War Office one sided color paper map of North Eastern Malaysia that was occupied by the Japanese in WWII..... scale 1:1,000,000 with legend at bottom......marked 'for officialk use only' although as was case with some War Office charts, few other identifying marks on this chart......excellent condition, measures 26" x 32" in excellent condition.......$25

6-51-A-P-1.....RAAF DARWIN, JUNE 1945 ......Not commonly seen, the Australians made their own charts too; this one is of Northern Central Territory of Australia......RAAF charts are more traditional in their legend presentations, with distance scales, chart legend key, map grid, etc....scale 1:1,000,000.........measures 21" by 29" in used, good condition........surprising number of airports in the Northern Territory, these are further identified as civil, military, emergency use, customs airport, etc......not often seen WWII RAAF chart......$35
