-5-I-N-8.........NORTH AMERICAN AT-6 TEXAN MANIFOLD PRESSURE........Pioneer type D-9 with (19)41 procurement date on face...... std. 3 and 1/8" diameter, Pioneer made high quality instruments and this one is no exception, with super smooth movement, it is about 1" off, but appears in fine working condition, and with calibration/yellow tag, should work for another 60 years........$95

****Here you can see the back seat of a T-6, the MP gauge measured relative work of the engine, and since it was supercharged, it could show when the student was trying to overboost the engine too!****

-4-I-N-8...

-27-I-N-8........US GAUGE MANIFOLD PRESSURE ......... built by US Gauge of NY.......phantom Maltese Cross on face of gauge....standard 3 and 1/8" diameter face with metal manufacture stamp attached to rear of case...unit has unique lighting system with standand 3 O'clock position screw in light bulb (included), but illuminates BEHIND the face and reflects around entire face!.....I can almost feel the rumble of the P&W pulling the Staggerwing along in the darkness!...these were also used in sets of two for the early Lockheed P-38's...... fine working condition, many have a WWII overhaul/inspection tag affixed....guess who bought this last inventory!!....circa 1930's..........$85

-3-I-N-8.......LINK TRAINER TACHOMETER....... Not often seen, these otherwise standard looking WWII aircraft instruments have a bright red data plate on the reverse that states "FOR USE ON GROUND INSTRUMENT TRAINER ONLY" ..... and in fact it is a completely different instrument, since it is a pneumatic tachometer! (standard units were direct drive or electric)...... standard 3 and 1/8" face, and made my the well known Square -D company, this is a unique WWII item, designed and used soley in ground trainers.......looks in good condition, and it is still in fine working condition! (just in case you have a link trainer) .......SOLD

-47-I-N-8..... HIGH RANGE FUEL PRESSURE C-13 .......As was used in the Lockheed P-38 and various other USAC/USAAF...... Working fuel pressure gauge 0-25 PSI with 1/8" NPT female fittings at rear of case for fuel pressure and static air vent pressure... standard 2 and 1/4" diameter with snap ring retainer for glass.....face marked A.C.U.S. ARMY TYPE C-13.....marked(19)42 on metal ID tag at rear of case..mfg. Electric Autolite Co.....interesting modification was piece of black tape very neatly cut out and painted markes from 26 to 20 PSI for gauge, something that probably would be frowned upon by modern mechanics......fair/good looking original WWII unit in working condition.......$38
