1-28-I-N-3...CHRONOMETRIC TACHOMETER, TYPE C-11 WW11...Used in many AAF aircraft the type C-11 chronometric tachometer was precision built by the Jaeger Watch Co. and are extremely accurate...std 3 1/8" aircraft instrument panel diameter...only 1/1/2" deep case...square shaft drive with male thread attach on case.......shaft turns, but needle is stuck at 1400 rpm..... fairly common to these tachometers, their precision movement is sensitive to congealed oil or dirt, and chances are that a good cleaning and re-oil is all this needs .....face shows 'weathering' but in overall fair/good shape.....$45

| 5-1-I-N-3........ P-51 MUSTANG COOLANT TEMP. ...The Mighty Mustang actually used two of these gauges, one for coolant temperature and the other for carb. air temps. (there were some variations of these gauges).......12 or 24V Auto-Lite gauge used 4 prong cannon plug connection......2 and 1/4" diameter mounting, I have a few of these in excellent condition...(but I cannot guarantee if they work or not).....comes with copied page from original P-51D flight manual showing this gauge in panel...have a few....$49 |

8-44-I-N-3.......WWII GERMAN STUKA TURN & BANK ......Simple presentation electric t&b was a trademark of some German aircraft, including the JU-87 Stuka German dive bomber......this instrument is actually two simple instruments in the same housing......the 'needle' at the top was gyroscope driven, and indicated when the plane was in a turn......the 'ball' worked on the same principle as a carpenter's level, except it indicates if the plane is 'slipping or skidding' throught the air----flying sideways.....extra useful to the accuracy of a dive-bombing mission .....standard diameter of 3 and 1/8" face, but 6" long and quite heavy for this type instument....rear of case has German data tag marked 'Elektr Wendezeiger' and odd (to us Yankees) two prong electric plug connector for power .......the 'ball' is in working condition still, and the 'needle' may still work too, I have not tested it, but the gauge is not tampered and appears in very good condition.......sale comes with photo of this instrument installed in the panel of a WWII German JU-87 Stuka..........$195

10-10-I-N-3.... JAEGER C-7 TACHOMETER..... Made by Jaeger Watch Co, of New York, NY, this is very similar to the C-11 tach with the major exception of the face presentation and it has provision for lighting.....same tach drive hook-up as the C-11...data plate on rear of case... has a (19)39 contract date....still has 3v Kollsman peanut light installed......case, face, needle in good condition but dirty...tach is not in working condition, and the drive is installed, but loose.....this tach would either be a good parts donor or needs repair........SOLD

11-9-I-N-3.....JAEGER C-9 TACHOMETER ....Another Jaeger tachometer, this one is the same as the C-11 except for the different face markings, otherwise the same.......this one seems to run fine and the face looks better in person than my photo shows it, although it does need a re-touch of paint on the needle itself.....metal data plate on rear of case and same attach for tach drive as the C-11......very good condition..........$105
