2-18-I-N-2.... ARTIFICIAL HORIZON WWII...Same type as used in B-29 (type AN 5736-1) with data plate showing it was built for the Air Force...4" dia. face with horizon indication...'cage' knob at 5:00...very good condition & ready to reinstall in your Super Fort after inspection/overhaul! ....have a few of these...some minor variations in face markings ..these are vacuum driven, and originally were powered either through venturi or vacuum pump...working condition ...$110

3-10-I-N-2.... WWII AAF DIRECTIONAL GYRO.... Excellent condition and working......it is an AN 5735-1 with WWII (1941-1945) AAF contract number on the data plate...std 3 1/8" dia. face...it has a crisp...cost us taxpayers hundreds when built...now a real value....as used in most everything of the USAAF during WWI such as B-24, P-51, B-25, A-26, etc....I have a few of these DG's and of various manufacturer, including Ternstedt (General Motors) and Bendix....there are some minor variations in markings, but these were all built to same spec # and were interchangeable in aircraft....vacuum or venturi driven....these are also known a the 'drum style' DG as they resemble a compass card or 'drum' as compared to later styles.....$75 each
4-3-I-N-2...... WWII USAAF OUTSIDE AIR TEMPERATURE GAUGE ..... Type C-13A, marked on face, also marked 'AF, US Army'......reverse of gauge is marked with procurment date of (19)42 ......this is the guage that virtually every USAAF airplane used (except for open cockpits such as the PT-17, for obvious reasons!)......this gauge was used to calculate true airspeed, true altitude, and for instrument flying (structural and carburetor icing) .....gauge is not functional as the actual temperature sensing portion is gone now, with only a 3" wire protruding out the back ......you can turn the needle to any position yu desire .....convex glass, face and needle all in excellent condition..... I rarely see these gauges .........$15

5-9-I-N-2.....GRUMMAN FM-2 WILDCAT FUEL GAUGE.....Quite a find, most anything from the Wildcat is hard to get now.....this std. diameter 3 and 1/8", 24V instrument has a face in excellent condition, and legible markings....made by General Electric.....removed from instrument panel, you can see where the brass atthment screws were cut off to remove this instrument (no damage to instrument) comes with full provenance, Part # US Gov't ID for the Grumman FM-2, and photocopied pages from original Grumman FM-2 flight manual explaining the fuel system (looks like it held either 117 or 130 gallons useable depending on whether of not the tank liner was installed.....$155

6-9-I-N-2........GRUMMAN F6F-3 HELLCAT LANDING GEAR INDICATOR......Showed the position of both main gear, the tailwheel and the flaps, standard dia 3 and 1/8" mount......General Electric 24V unit......removed from a flying airplane, you can see an ID tag on the rear of case, and a hand written tag on top of case.......brass attachment screws were cut to remove instrument from the panel (no damage to instrument).......untested.....sale includes copies from original Grumman F6F-3 Pilots flight manual showing this instrument installed in the panel, and a copy from WWII US Gov't supply manual showing this particular part # indicator installation in the F6F-3...used, very good condition......$165
7-10-I-N-2......... 1930 PIONEER T & B ........Vacuum driven Pioneer is clearly marked on the face 'Pioneer Instrument Company, Brooklyn, New York, Bu Aero USN 274-(19)30......top of case shows this was serviced in Pensacola (19)42....cat ear mount, std. 3 and 1/8" diameter......complete but needs oil (overhaul) as the gyro hesitates to spin under vacuum.......have it overhauled and install it in your antique for..........$175
8-25-I-N-2...PILOTS MANIFOLD PRESSURE INSTRUMENT, F4U "CORSAIR" WW II..From the pilots instrument panel of the renowned F4U "Corsair" USN/USMC fighter...the legendary 'bent wing bird' flown to glory by guys like Pappy Boyington...std..aircraft 3 1/8" dia. face with cream numbers on black background reading 10-75 inches of mercury Manifold Pressure...most important information on how much power the pilot was pulling out of the big R-2800 Pratt & Whitney radial...(war emergency redline was just over 50 inches, and to anyone that doesn't know what this means, the engine is running a LOT of pressure from the supercharger at that setting!...)...gov't serial # and data on back of case ...lens a little clouded from age(you could clean it)......good cond......$ 105.
9-8-I-N-2..........PILOTS DIRECTION INDICATOR, WW11 B-17/B-24...NEW OLD STOCK......This "PDI" was directly in front of pilot in B-17s and -24s and used to indicate direction of aircraft on bomb run when coupled with the C-1 autopilot and Norden Bombsight...you can buy a real bit of WW11 combat history when you buy this 3 1/8" diameter Pilots Direction Indicator (Bombing Run)..brand new still old stock in the original wax paper...have a couple available...$75 each

10-49-I-N-2......NEW OLD STOCK KOLLSMAN LINK TRAINER ALTIMETER......Made specifically for a flight trainer (link Trainer) this WWII Kollsman altimeter is still new in the padded wrapping as supplied ot the USAAF......electrically powered, this does not operate like a standard altimeter.....bright red tag on reverse of case warns 'for ground trainer only'......std 3 and 1/8" diamter mount......as new old stock..ideal for building up a WWII era panel as it mounts and looks like standard altimeter....SOLD
