-5-I-N-11.......FREE AIR TEMP, AC, US ARMY, TYPE C-10.........Large 3 and 1/8" mount, rear of case market '12 or 24V'........gauge in excellent condition with clean face, ghost markings, free needle, and slightly discolored markings.metal case has metal data plate (I can't read) and four prong cannon plug connection..(19)41 procurement code ..... untested .......$45
-5-I-N-11...... WESTON OIL TEMP ....... Std. 2 and 1/4" dia. mount, Type 606, this was the alternative to the 3 in 1 unit...3 terminal hook-up...not tested, loose glass, needle appears stuck, circa early WWII.......$25

-2-I-N-11.......BELL UH-1H 'HUEY' IROQUOIS FUEL GAUGE.........The US Army's first operational turboshaft powered helicopter, the Huey UH-1 was produced in great quantity (over 16,000 built!) and of course made a major impact in the Vietnam 'conflict'.....The UH-IH used this fuel gauge (see instrument panel photo), and undoubtably other variants used this same gauge.....measures just under 2" across, it indicates the amount of Jet-A in hundreds of pounds.....Hueys's usually carried 211 gallons (about 1320 pounds)...electric gauge has metal dataplate on rear of case marked 'BELL'......good used condition, I have not tested to see if operational......I have a couple of these available....$29 each

-1-I-N-11.....BELL HUEY UH-1 HELICOPTER OIL TEMP AND PRESSURE GAUGE........Attractive combination unit measured both the oil pressure and temperature on one gauge (dual needle) for the powerful Lycoming T-53 of the Huey......indicator is just a hair under 2" across, and about 5" long......large electrical canon plug connection at rear of case.......numerous markings....comes with 'yellow tag' (slang for paper document stating this item is in servicable condition, and identification of the item and who has determined it to be servicable).. signed by Corpus Christi Army Depot.....PN#9036-2006 ..........I have no idea if this is in working condition, but it is in very clean used condition, has undoubtably logged many hours in the air...I have a couple available.....$27 each
-6-I-N-11....... WESTON 2 & 1/4" CARB TEMP ...... Type 606 electric indicator, untested, loose glass, otherwise good condition, three terminal hook-up...WWII.........$35
-20-I-N-11.......GRAY FACE 'BONANZA' DIRECTIONAL GYRO ....Another item to fall under the 'whatsit??' category, this is a WWII JAHCO (Jack and Heintz Company of Ohio) original WWII suction gyro (marked AN 5735-1), these were inspected/overhauled after WWII and during that time the faces were re-painted grey with white markings...... this was done for a civilan aircraft manufacturer ( most likely Beechcraft for their Bonanza).... although the case paint looks 'flakey' and not too good, the markings in the face of the instrument where they would protrude through the panel look almost like new.. attractive CAGED warning flag is bright red and only shows when set knob is used.... working condition gyro. sounds very smooth when spun up, but set knob 'sticky'......it could use a good cleaning/re-oiling before use.......standard gyro size, face measures 2 and 7/8" across.... original manufacturer sticker on case....$90

-6-I-N-11...... US GAUGE DE-ICER PRESSURE ......Std 2 and 1/4" mount......this neat little gauge indicated the pressure applied to the black rubber pneumatic boots on the leading edge of the wings and tail of large airplanes such as the B-17......when the gauge showed pressure, the boots were expanded, maening the ice was being cracked off the plane......threaded connection at rear of gauge...shows 0-10 PSI.......excellent working condition, have a couple available.........$25 each

-5-I-N-11..NORTH AMERICAN B-25J MITCHELL AIRSPEED INDICATOR.....US Gauge Type F-2A airspeed was originally intended for fighters such as the P-51D and P-47's, but many found there way into the cockpits of later model B-25's and B-17's, as surplusses and standardization with the USAAF made these more common...this particular gauge has original painted markings on the face...note the 'redline' is 340 mph, the redline of the B-25 (maximum dive speed).......the flap speed is marked as the 'white arc' on the gauge, and the 'top of the white' is the maximum speed the flaps may be lowered, marked here at 170 mph, this is what the B-25 was limited at.......gauge is in working condition and standard 3 and 1/8" dia. mount........reverse has factory/USAAF contract data plate indicating this is a 1945 instrument.........$125

****let me know when you order this, I will photocopy the page from the B-25 manual showing these speed limitations****

-5-I-N-11...... RADIO COMPASS INDICATOR .....Used in Automatic Direction Finding equipment, this would point to the station, and rotating compass rose would align aircraft heading to the needle (to make it easier to figure out where that damn aircraft carrier went) .......green and creme marking indicate USN unit...... 4 plug electric connector in rear of case, appears in excellent condition, untested....3 and 1/8" mount dia.....probably out of a PBY or similar......$45SOLD

-5-I-N-11.....AVRO LANCASTER PDI ....... This indicator sits prominently on top of the glareshield in front of the pilot of the mighty 'Lanc' WWII British heavy bomber ...(PDI = Pilot Drift/Deviation Indicator)....dual needles point left or right to tell the pilot where to fly the plane for the bombing run.....the PDI receives steering information from the Bombardier's bombsight...this was found to work better than the Bombardier telling the pilot to 'steer left, no, more left, etc'....gauge in excellent condition with British Royal Crown stamped on case...untested, but appears in working condition and complete....3 and 1/8" mount, as removed from WWII Lancaster as souvenir....very hard to find.......$175
