5-3-B-O-5.......CURRENT AVIATION FEBRUARY 7-11, 1944.........Vol. II, Number 20.........a weekly newspaper put out by the Educational Printing House, Inc.,.......this reads musch like a newspaper for current (1944) aviation happenings......this 8 page weekly edition has articles on the newest version of the B-25 bomber that mounts a 75-millimeter cannon (20 pound shell!!) made to obliterate ships, narrow bridges(yes, really) etc.......other articles include flying over the 'hump'...........numerous photos and specific people, aircraft, locations named.........9" by 12.5" newspaper in good, used condition ............SOLD
6-3-B-O-5......INSTRUCTORS' SYLLABUS, INSTRUMENT TRAINER, ADVANCED....15 December 1945.......AAF Distribution, Technical Order ......Published by authority of the Commanding General Army Air Forces..........as a civilian instrument instructor, I can say this manual is written and organized at least as well if not better than current manuals for instrument training......49 pages, sectioned lessons, numerous illustrations, some nice drawings of B-17, B-24, and P-61 Black Widow (crews that would all need to be proficient instrument pilots!).........color drawings and explanations of the 'localizer beam' instrument that is found in many WWII military aircraft panels and still in use today .......about 9" by 11" in very good (possibly new old stock) condition........$30
