2-12-B-O-4....LINDBERGHS DECORATIONS AND TROPHYS...This 10 1/2 by 7 1/2" softcover book of 64 pages was printed by the Missouri Historical Society in 1935 and has photographs and details of the many trophys and decorations givent o Chas Lindbergh following his epic transatlantic solo flight eight years before...Lindbergh donated these to the Missouri Museum, hence this book...detailed close up photos of Lindberghs aircraft instrumnets, wrist watches and clocks, flight suit, medals, wings, keys to cities, medallions, plaques, trophys, sculpters, tapestrys, maps, airplane models and hundreds of other items given by CAL to the museum...invaluable reference book...fine cond...$39.
3-1-B-O-4........FLIGHT AND AIRCRAFT ENGINEER, DECEMBER 1958..........'Official Organ of the Royal Aero Club'.........not oft. seen magazine to us 'Yankees' this hales from London England and is quite worthy reading......advertisements such as the Argosy four engine turboprop 'Freightercoach', Blackburn jet on the front cover, and the pointy looking Fairey Delta 2 ..........about 40 pages and 8.5" by 11.5" in good condition......$7
4-10-B-O-4....1962-63 JANES ALL THE WORLDS AIRCRAFT....No need to tell you about a Janes, it is the leading authority on aircraft and aircraft engines for any given year...this large book of 480 pages printed on high quality slick paper is for the years of 1962-63...it has some neat aircraft like the Fairtravel Linnet...(you remember it dont you?) and theShinn 2150....also the last Monocoupe, the Saturn Meteor...and military stuff like the XB-70 and the Hawker Hunter...and a gazillion more...this book came from reference library at Mather AFB and bears their stamp inside cover, used but decent shape...$75
