Chief of The Air Staff, Air Ministry, and numerous other branches of the Military......produced soley for official use and cannot be sold to members of the public....printed London UK....literally filled with photos of (then) current aircraft from both NATO and WARSAW.....three views, in flight photos, close-ups, identification, markings, etc.... publication intended for ID of friend and foes, and includes tanks/boats too, but seems to concentrate on aircraft....in this issue are Vought Cutlass, F-84, Nord Noratlas, Mig-17, Saab-32 Lansen, B-52, Bear, etc..8" by 10.5" in very good con. with about 25 pages.....$7
2-42-B-0-10...........FLYING THE BOEING MODEL 80 ....By the late, great Peter M. Bowers, with artwork and designs by Uwe Feist........although this is a modern book, the photos, research, and story of the sole surviving model 80 is fantastic!.....40 + pages, probably one hundred photos and illustrations, details on all 16 of the Boeing model 80's including the famous Stanavo model 226..the tri-motor biplane was introduced in 1928 and flew for a variety of airlines until 1934....it was the last of the fixed gear airliners to precede the Boeing 247 and Mr. Douglas' DC-2.........8.5" by 11"...... brand new book...........only $9

3-8-B-O-10.........THE STARS AT NOON, BY JACQUELINE COCHRAN.......Autobiograpghy with forward by Chuck Yeager........Jackie held numerous world recognized speed records, not only for women, but for men as well....her career lasted up through the jet era.......while not as famous as Amelia Earhart, many believe Jackie contributed far more to aviation......274 pages.... printed in 1954.....hardcover .....about 5.5" by 8.5"......no dustjacket.......good condition .........$12
4-48-B-O-10.....AVIATOR'S RECOGNITION MANUAL ......Headquarters Department of The Army, Wash. DC, August 6, 1984...........In the preface of the manual, the stated purpose is: 'Familiarize aircrews with modern combat equipment'......softbound book measures about 6' by 9" and is almost 1 inch thick...........chapters divided up into such topics as 'Rotary-Wing' Aircraft, Antiaircraft Guns and Surface to Air Missiles, etc......chapters sub-divided into categories such as 'Bomber and Fighter Aircraft' in either 'Allied Equipment' or 'Warsaw Pact' equipment.......(hey remember that was still cold-war times).......each desciption includes one or more photos, recognition features, users, specs, and occasional three views........interesting notes on what country was using what piece of military equip......some light doodling (yeah typical bored flight crew) on front cover, and binding starting to look a little loose on a few pages.......all complete and undamaged.......original US Gov't publication and only....$15

**** If you look real close, you'll notice a few 'Where's Waldo' type errors in this book, like the Cessna O-2 has wheelpants, something impossible unless they used a three view from a Cessna 336 which was not ever impressed into military service!****

"Army Aviation, A long look at why it is...what it can do...where it is going".......issue packed with features and ads for all you "rotor-heads" and lots of fixed wing stuff too....the US Army had OV-10's, DeHavilland Caribou's, Beech Twin-Bo's and Queen-Airs amoung others.....proof positive that the US Army had already planned on arming the Huey (unlike a recent Discovery Wings episode concluded).......88 pages in good shape ....$5
6-7-B-O-10.......AIRCRAFT COMPARISONS, PART II -MULTI ENGINED AIRCRAFT, 1942 UK ........... Intriguing booklet published by the Real Photographs Co. of Southport UK, 1942.......20 pages of gorgeous in-flight photographs of B-17, B-24, Lockheed Hudson, A-20, Bristol Beaufighter, Bristol Blenheim, Halifax, etc..... each aircraft is photographed and discussed in various model configurations ....Brits loved to use "Mark ##'s" so even the B-17 is catagorized as Mk. I, Mk. II, etc......the B-17 Mk. II (B-17E) was incorrectly guessed to have Wright Double Cyclone engines....measures 6" by 9" in good condition...........rare bit of useful research material....... photos alone worth the price ........$15

8-30-B-O-10...........WACO 1936 CUSTOM CABIN PARTS PRICE LIST......... Original Waco publication covering the UQC (pretty rare!), YQC, ZQC, DQC, EQC models......26 pages of part numbers, identification, and prices ....parts ##'s can be cross referenced to blue-prints for identification and restoration..........8.5" by 11" softbound in very good condition........when only original will do ..........SOLD
10-48-B-O-10........WACO INSTRUCTION MANUAL AND PARTS PRICE LIST FOR STANDARD CABINS 1934 TO 1938..........40 jam packed original pages for the UKC, YKC, UKC-S, YKC-S, YKS-6, YKS-7, ZKS-7, YKS-7.........did the Waco plant serve alphabet soup at lunch time??....includes assembly instructions, wing rigging, cowling, brakes, landing light maintenance and care, part ##'s descriptions, prices......foldouts with schematics.... this is as close as Waco got to a service manual......8.5 by 11" in good condition....original and rare........ SOLD
