1-1-D-C-6....CHEVRON PILOTS FLIGHT GUIDE, 1950....Back in the good old days when oil companys courted General Aviaiton pilots, they gave out these when you bought their avgas....a "Standard Flight Guide" being a very useful (I still use mine) 3 1/2 by 7 inch two sided plastic card loaded with useful info to any pilot...Flight Plan Sequence...Weather Sequence...VOR freqs...Line of Sight...Off Airways Altitudes...Radiotelegraph Code...Tower Light Signals...and sectional and wac chart mileage rule on edges...also place to fill in a flight plan, weather and frequencys....a Sept. 1950 date on this Chevron Flight Guide....have couple available in as new cond...each...$19.

2-19-D-C-6....WACO "ARISTOCRAFT" SALES BROCHURE...Historic item in that it was the last aircraft designed and built (but only one) by the Waco Aircraft Co. of Troy Ohio...who in the early 1930's outsold all other aircraft makers....this was a giant leap forward for the makers of the fabric covered taildraggers known as Wacos...(Ask Any Pilot)...a tricycle geared, pusher, monoplane...this original two color 11x14" double-fold sales brochure has photos and all the specs on this aircraft...extremely rare sales brochure...fine condition....$49.

3-20-D-C-6.......SHOWA AIRCRAFT DATA PLATE ......dated 20 Jan (19)54, this plate is aluminum 2 by 3.5" marked 'Rebuilt by Showa Aircraft & Vechcont.FAC Showa Aircraft Industry Co. Ltd., Showa Machi Japan ........looking in my 54/55 Janes, I see that Showa was the first Japanese aircraft manufacturer post WWII to resume production, and pre WWII had been involved in building DC-3's under license......apparently had contracts with US Gov't to overhaul and repair USAF aircraft......this data plate is obviously used, wha aircraft was it riveted too?....probably the only one of these data plates you or I will ever see........fair condition.....$20 |

POSTCARD ...Great condition postcard of McDonnell 'Purchase Order Acknowledgement Follow-UP' for Pioneer/Bendix instrument Corp. of Davenport Iowa ...dated June 11, 1959.....McDonnell was building the F3H Demon and F-101 Voodoo at the time, and secretly working on the legendary Phantom project (F-4)......probably all of these aircraft used numerous Pioneer Bendix instruments and components......card measures about 3.5" by 5.5".....$8 |

5-35-D-C-6.......HUGHES SPRUCE GOOSE FLYING BOAT DATA PLATE REPLICA......."The world's biggest plane" this data plate is of course a replica, as the original is still solidly attached to the plane......most excellent reproduction showing the manufacture date and power supplied by 8 Wasp major R4360-4's...........mounted on a stained wooden plaque measuring 4.5 inches square.......I am sure Mr. Hughes would approve........$50 |

| 8-41-D-C-6......JAPAN AIRLINES TIMETABLE AND BROCHURE 1958........This lot contains 4 items: flight brochure, timetables and fares, JAL credit plan (hey its not a cheap flight!), and signed letter from Peter Ohtaki , the District Manager, who was following up on this brochure request.....letter is dated May 28, 1958.........JAL was operating the Douglas DC-6B and using American flight crews with a complete Pacific route structure....all items in very good condition............$15 |

9-42-D-C-6......GOODYEAR PRODUCTS AVIATION PRODUCTS BROCHURE.......Goodyear was THE name in aviation for wheels and brakes, but many people forget the other important contributions the company made to aerospace.......many other items listed in thsi colorful brochure of about 20 pages.....measures 8.5 by 11" in good shape other then the loose covers.......Goodyear is one of the few aviation parts manufacturers that has built, owned, and operated its own fleet of aircraft.....circa early 1950's....$19
