1-54-D-C-4..........ORIGINAL GRUMMAN PRINT OF GRUMMAN F-11 TIGER ............Believe it or not, this is an original full color print (total size is 26 inches by 20 inches) by none of ther Grumman Aircraft!........bottom left hand corner is marked ' 1955, Grumman Aircraft Engineering Corp.) and center below print is marked 'Grumman F-11F-1 Tiger'............print itself is marked 'Chesley Bonestell' as the original artist.....printed on heavy paper, backed by heavy cardstock with a thin coat of paper sandwiched between, all appears original............apparently only 199 F-11F-1;s were ever built, but operated with honor off carriers and by the Blue Angels!......this poster has some light water staining at the edges and a slight warp (I am guessing it wasn't laid flat or inside a picture frame for a while)......some light marking on edge outside of print image looks to me that this would still be respectable in a frame.......very rare factory print of this majestic US Fighter.........$15......shipped flat, not rolled!

3-24-D-C-4....FLITE TIME CARD IN J-3 CUB, 1940'S....The Lowe Flying School was a small FBO in Florida and they operated several Piper J-3 Cubs for flight training and rental...you could buy 'block' time by the minute in them and they gave you one of these cards...300 minutes cost $30 bucks...(dont you wish you could fly one today for $5 and hour?)...have several of these card which Lowe never sold...size 2 1/2 by 4"....nice bit of Cub nostaglia ...each card(without the flite time) is yours for...$11.
4-31-D-C-4..STANDARD OF CALIFORNIA LUBE CHART FOR PIPER J5/PA-12 AND PORTERFIELD COLLEGIATE...Original 1947.....includes diagram with an "X-ray" view of what, where, and how often to service.... ..meant for the "grease-monkey" at the local FBO, Chevron of course hoped all the service would be done with 'Genuine Chevron Products!...chart is two sided... with Porterfield on one side, and Piper J5/PA-12 on the other... 12 x 18", blue and red ink on cardstock...good condition, but definently used in the field, with a few oil smudges and tears....this is a real one unlike that photocopied junk you see for sale ..................ORIGINAL......$21
5-20-D-C-4.......DOUGLAS DC-6A/B ENGINE DATA PLATE ......Engine data plate from the magnificent P&W R-2800 known as the 'Double Wasp CB 17'........ 3" by 4"plate appears to be stainless steel and contains varous information such as engine fuel octane rating (108-135 octane!)..apparently the DC-6 had a 6,000 pound higher takeoff weight with this engine compared to the other R-2800...plate in good used condition.......$38
6-29-D-C-4.....PILOTS LOGBOOK AND RECEIPTS 1949 ...Yet another student pilot who never made it.....after only five dual flights, it looks like he decided that flying wasn't for him afterall....Piper Cub NC 38783 and 32842 are logged in here along with the other usual information....... 3 original receipts for flights and logbook are included as well......... Gleason Flying Service of Tulsa OK. rented a Piper Cub, plus instructor for $4.90 per hour.........looks like the one Cub had a Lycoming 65 in it.........the logbook is an Air Associates copyrighted 1948.........hardbound and in good shape......$15

7-19-D-C-4.......RENO NATIONAL AIR RACES BANNER ....This is from one of the National Air Races held at Reno many decades ago......large 44" by 92"....(almost 4 feet by 8 feet) ...'retrieved' on site in the city of Reno......taken by some innovative folks who shall remain nameless....(hey it wasn't me, I was probably about 2 years old back in the day!)....these banners were never sold.....this may be your only chance to own one....impregnated cloth made by a company in Hollywood(marked on banner), dayglow orange, white and black colors..wood 1" x1" (about) wooden weight stick at bottom of banner (hey its windy in Reno)....remarkably good condition- shipped carefully rolled .......$235

8-25-D-C-4....NELSON AIRCRAFT ENGINE BROCHURE....This must be from the 1950's...the Nelson Aircraft Corp of Irwin PA developed and were selling light aircraft 4 cyl engines of 45 HP...this four page brochure gives all the details and has "blueprint" of engines...$18.
9-45-D-C-4.......CONVAIR 240 ENGINE DATA PLATE.....For the P&W R2800, known as the 'Double Wasp CA 18'.....monster radial engine had 18 cylinders and produced 2,400 horsepower for takeoff 'wet' (with water/methanol injection).....beautiful brass 3" by 4" data plate contains various information such as horsepower ratings under various conditions.......designed for 100/130 octane fuel.....plate in good used condtion and looks better in person than my photograph shows...the Convair 240 used a different engine than the CV-340.......this is it.........$42
10-1-D-C-4.. FEDERAL AVIATION AGENCY SIGN ....Back in 1958 when the FAA was formed from the Civil Aeronautics Administration (CAA) they were called Fed. Aviation Agency, not Fed. Aviation Administration like they are now..........here is a nice heavy porcelain coated metal sign for a Slight Service Station located at Auburn, WN ..........measures 7" by 10" in good used condition....... original...........SOLD
