2-4-D-C-3.....EASTERN AIRLINES LOCKHEED CONSTELLATION POSTCARD.........."Eastern's magnificent new Turbo Compound powered SUPER-C CONSTELLATION over Miami Beach, Florida" is the caption of the front........caption on back mentions that this airplane has 13,000 horsepower!!.....3 by 5" cards are in new original condition with a very detailed full color illustration on the front.(my photo doesn't do justice)...have a few........$9 each

3-20-D-C-3....LOCKHEED SATURN DATA PLATE....... A most unique data plate, this is a modern reproduction made to exacting detail and stunning beauty of what must be one of the most obscure Lockheed designs.......aircraft data plate made on heavy aluminum with detailed screening.........a collector recently had a few of these made since neither of the original two Lockheed Saturns survive, they were scrapped by Lockheed in 1948........plate measures 2" by 4" and riveted to the structure of the aircraft.......chances are that other Lockheeds of immediate post-WWII such as the Constellation Neptune Shooting Star and Starfire used this same data plate.........I just have the one in beautiful condition with protective plastic covering it........$45

"MYSTERY" AIRLINE PILOTS BULLION WINGS...Only trouble is I dont know from what country this airline is?...four inch span gold bullion wings on black background with gold and blue center and what looks like "A T T" in center of "O"...very thick and well made...add it to your airliner collection...(and let me know who flew with them...)...$32. |

8-26-D-C-3......... AERO COMMANDER LIGHTER... Attractive metal cigarette lighter case with Aero Commander logo and 3 color inlay......... head on drawing of the twin engine executive transport.........brainchild of Ted Smith, the high winged 6 seater was one of the first successful 'light twins' to be produced after WWII......lighter is a 'Park' made in USA, but is the case only, does not have flint, can, mechanism, etc.... stands about 2" tall and has owner's name inlayed on the back side.......$12 (sorry for too much reflection in the photo, it looks better in person!) |

9-12-D-C-3.........EASTERN AIRLINES MARTIN 404 POSTCARD.........."The Silver Falcon was built for Eastern by the Glann L. Martin Company to bring you the highest degree of dependability."............first entering service in 1951, the Martin 404 was a twin engined P&W radial powered 'hotrod' that could cruise along at 275mph.......Eastern operated 40 of these planes for about a decade........card measures 3 by 5" in new original, or excellent used condition...........have a few........ $9.50 each

10-8-B-D-C-3...1948 NATIONAL AIR RACE PROGRAM....Held in Cleveland, this postwar national air race had some jet airplane devisions in the Bendix Speed Dash and a special Allison Jet Trophy event...the Sohio Trophy was open to P-38, P-51 and P-63 aircraft only...some of the airshow attractions was Woody Edmondson and Bevo Howard...there was even a twin Ercoupe on display...72 pages of events, pilots and aircraft and even map of the race course...many photos...if you missed this in '48...buy the original program for...$85.
