1-6-C-M-6........ NORTHROP P-61 BLACK WIDOW MAGNETO SWITCH AND HOUSING ........ When is the last time you saw a part off a P-61?? Of only about 700 of the fearsome WWII fighters built, only a small handful of the planes survive......... this aluminum box mounted the magneto switch (in center) and was constructed of aluminum .......... measures about 6" across and lid is secured to box with 4 dzus fasteners...box was needed around the mag. switch due to the unique placement midway on the left side of the cockpit for pilot.....included with sale is photocopy from original P-61 Pilots Manual showing an illustration of this item in the cockpit.......the only one of these I have ever seen......... $225
2-45-C-M-6.....SENIOR PILOTS WINGS, REPRO....These are re-strikes of the originals made to exacting tolerance with pin-back, approval # and 'Sterling' imprint on rear of wings...completely identical to the original 3" wings.....solid sterling silver and in new shiny condition, these are not the 'cheapie' wings you typically see in you local bike shop.....this style of the Senior Pilot wings has the Senior Star integral with the wings, not as a seperate piece soldered on as some were during WWII.....excellent....$45
3-4-C-M-6.........REPLICA CONSOLIDATED PB4Y PRIVATEER DATA PLATE, REPRO......Navy version of the Consolidated B-24 Liberator.......many merchant vessels on the Atlantic route were saved by these Navy Patroller's and their brave crews...... aluminum data plates were used to designate unique serial number to each plane........plate measures 3.30" by 1.50".......while the originals would be worth big $$$, these exact reproduction plates were made a few years back by a restorer who was unable to locate ANY originals!...........$35
4-55-C-M-6......USAAF STATIONARY 'FLIGHT PACK'.......What did the flight crew use to write back home to mom with? ......This!........flight pack measures 10.5" by 7.5", mfr'd by T.V. Allen on Los Angeles, with the Douglas B-19 on cover......inside is stack of stationary on the left side and 2 stacks of evelopes on the right side......calender inside for 1942 and 1943....on reverse is set of regulations and rules, such as protocol when saluting (do not bow)....original and unused....... very good/ excellent condition......only this one available...$24.50

5-55-C-M-6....STINSON L-5 PROP....This is a Hartzell #8516E (TC837) prop from WWII era..... markings are missing from this prop..... These props were used on a Stinson L-5 Sentinel WWII Liason plane...its much larger than props used on the smaller L-4 Cub... not damaged from use but has weather cracking..... brass leading edges, sanded, screws in place of a few rivets, in short, it has been around for a while ..... measures 85" long and weighs about 21 pounds..........a real prop that really flew, unlike those 'lumberyard specials' replicas that wouldn't know the front end of the plane from a bookcase.....fair cond......$395

*shipping with insurance on this item is $75 to 'lower 48' *

6-29-C-M-6.......TRENCH ART WWII B-24 LIBERATOR........Not too often do we find items such as this........original hand 'carved' (machined?) solid aluminum......made out of a single piece of aluminum, the craftsmanship is outstanding.......I suspect an aircraft mechanic (machinist, sheet metal man, etc) built this due to its quality.........

-----windshield is simulated with 'stipling' from center punch

----props are simulated from resin plastic discs

----machine guns simulated by aluminum pins inserted into carefully drilled holes

----control surfaces simulated by hand etched lines in the metal

-----the entire plane, including the tail, is made from a single piece of metal,

----hole is drilled in belly to mount plane on a dowel

measures 9" wingspan......orignal WWII trench art, probably took literally hundreds of hours to produce...rarely do I ever see trench art bombers, and I don't recall ever seeing a trench art B-24.....excellent original cond.WWII.......$125

look at the detail od the retracted landing gear, double bombay door sets, engine cowlings, cowl flaps, and turrets, definently the work of a knowledgeable and capable enthusiast!

7-13-C-M-6.........EMERGENCY SIGNAL MIRROR WWII.........OK, your shot down and drifting on a limitless ocean.....little water and no food....out of normal ship lanes....you hear an aircraft engine.....unlike the movie actors, you don't yell "here we are!" like tey can here you two miles away...you get out your ESM....the Emergency Signal Mirror which most WWII pilots had with them, and flash the sunlight reflection at their aircraft.....this is the real and original item.... 3x5" with instructions printed on reverse....lanyard hold line.....in original WWII packing....don't leave home without it.....$47
.8-45-C-M-6......US IDENTIFICATION CHART OF ITALIAN TRI-MOTOR BOMBER ......A common sight on any barracks, quonset hut, planning room, pilot lounge, etc....chart was used by Allied Training Divisions for training and updated information on identifying friend or foe....pilots, aircrew (read trigger happy gunners!), AAA installations ground observers, shipmates all had to know the difference between a B-26 and a He-111....25" by 18.5" US Naval Aviation Training Division chart depicts Italian Savoia-Marchetti SM-79 three motor bomber and torpedo plane.(the Italians seemed to have the most interesting if not successful planes of WWII)....dated Feb. 1943, this chart is real, and in good condition ........shows numerous angles of plane, coding for identifiable features, and relative size.....shipped rolled......genuine.....$25
9-30-C-M-6......CLIP-ON LIFE JACKET SURVIVAL LIGHT.........Made by the Eastco. Co., this is part of a Mae West life jacket survival issue kit........the small red light clips on to the life jacket and is supposed to help crews locate each other in the high swells on the North Atlantic at night during the winter.......I have a few of these light kits in original new old stock condition......have no idea if they work, and would rather not find out while floating in the sea .....each $17
10-29-C-M-6......DOUGLAS C-54 SKYMASTER CONTROL WHEEL CENTER CAP-ORIGINAL......I thought I sold out of these, but found a couple more.....this is the plastic cap that snaps in the center of the control wheel of the Douglas C-54 ( and civilian DC-4).......measures 2.75" across, and is dark maroon with off white Douglas logo and light blue icon of planes flying 'around the world'.......reverse of cap has black plastic retainer ring.......new old stock in excellent original condition-limited quantity-.......$125 each
