1-15-C-M-12.......GRUMMAN DUCK ENGINE DATA PLATE.......The Grumman Duck biplane J2F came from a company that had quite a relationship with the USN building biplanes......the Duck was a general utility airplane that had a 900 horsepower 9 cylinder Curtiss Wright R-1820-54.....data plate is from this engine.....measures 3" by 5" aluminum in very good condition........$45

2-54-C-M-12.....CORSAIR GAS GAUGE ON STAND...Liquidometer electrically operated (24V) gas gauge that sat in the panel of the mighty 'Bent wing bird' made famous by Pappy Boyington........standard 2 and 1/4" diameter with yellow markings on the face..the Corsair main fuel tank held either 233 or 237 gallons of gas in front of the pilot, making for the trademark long nose common to all Corsairs except the first prototypes...data plate and cannon plug on rear of case..excellent condition and appears new old stock....mounted in clear plexiglas stand so you can set it on your desk...stand in new condition and professionally made (no- I didn't make it)......$45

3-12-C-M-12......DOUGLAS SBD-4 DAUNTLESS AIRFRAME DATA PLATE.........Genuine data plate for the SBD-4, Douglas Dauntless- the plane that help save Midway and helped the US Navy turn the tide of WWII in the Pacific........heavy aluminum data plate measures approx. 3" by 3.5", and all fields are stamped in, this plate was attached to a plane that is now long gone......own part of a real Dauntless that most likely flew the Pacific.....$425

4-8-C-M-12........VOUGHT F4U CORSAIR AIRSPEED ....Originally equipped in the famous "bent wing bird", this quality instrument was manufactured by Kollsman of Elmhurst NY (Owned by Square D equipment giant)....airspeed rotated around the face two times to show up to 460 knots (529 MPH), which probably was exceeded more than a few times by our 'boys chasing after the meatballs'.............standard 3 and 1/8 diameter instrument with pitot static connections.......still has data tag, NAS Acceptance stamp, and installation sticker....one plane had over 1000 hours flight time when this ASI was installed!......good condition(inside of glass needs cleaning)...........have a few......$95 each

5-35-C-M-12........VOUGHT F4U-5 CORSAIR ......Handsome looking Corsair of the Argentine Navy taking off carrier deck .......8" by 10" photo has one small tear and folded edge of photo, otherwise good condition original.........not much info, plane is number 222, and cowling is marked 'Armada Nacional'..... where is this Corsair now??.....circa 1950/1960's.......$17

6-6-C-M-12......F4U CORSAIR CONTROL STICK GRIP...... Original old stock control grip..... fit on the end of the stick that controlled the mighty Vought F4U Corsair......has 'trigger' button, and second button marked 'B' (as in Bombs)......hard to see in photo, but faint 'NAF 1173' (US Navy) marking stamped in grip .....made of a hard black resin material with red buttons that are in operating condition.....stick is quite comfortable to the hand, no wonder why Pappy Boyington shot down all those Zeroes! ......measures about 6" tall and in excellent condition, I have a couple of these available.......$189 each

8-54-C-M-12......PRATT & WHITNEY R-2800 OVERHAUL MANUAL......Dated November, 1942, this manual is a P&W Overhaul Manual for the Double Wasp B Series Engines (With 2 Stage Supercharger)-First Edition ........the Corsair used this 18 cylinder radial with 2 stage supercharger (along with other US Military high altitude fighters).......manual measures 11" by 9.5" and over 1" thick ........numerous foldouts, exploded diagrams, tool lists, part numbers, etc......included with manual is a large diameter new composition gasket (I found it in this manual) for the P&W R-2800......large hardbound 7 ring binder with guilded P&W emblem on cover......manual itself is part # 72662.....own an original manual and gasket from the mighty engine.......excellent condition.....SOLD

11-54-C-M-12.......CORSAIR WWII GUNSIGHT .....This was the purpose of why the Corsair airplane was built..... its reason for being: to frame the enemy in this sight and shoot it down.........Mk 8 Model 8 built by Bell & Howell of Chicago Ill.......illuminated reflector sight was quite accurate......first used in 1943, the F4U-1A and F4U-4 used this, along with F6F-3 Hellcat, Grumman TBM/TBF, Douglas SBD, Grumman F4F, and Curtiss SB2C.......precision metal sight stands about 8" tall and weighs approx. 4 pounds......not complete, this is the main body of the sight, minus cushion pad....... flat reflector glass is broken, although the coordinating 'ball' is intact and working, as appears the internal optics of sight...sight marked with model, manufacturer, US Nacy Anchor stamp, etc......if you look up through the sight you can still see the 'crosshairs'......SOLD

12-54-C-M-2......USN/USMC 'CORSAIR' FIGHTER CANOPY MIRROR, WWII........When in a dogfight flying the F4U Corsair, the Navy or Marine pilot often 'Checked his Six' for Zekes in this canopy mounted convex mirror.....one of three, this was the largest, that were mounted on the bulletproof windscreen of the famed 'bent wing bird'......Pappy Boyington used one....now is a rre chance for your ot own one too...10 inches long mounted on metal backing.....hig aircraft quality in original Chance Vought packing box.....have a couple left......$75 |

13-25-C-M-12........US MILITARY 1952 THREE INCH HARNESS AND SHOULDER BELT ASSEMBLY ....Original to the F4U-5 Corsair, as well as various other US Military aircraft using a bucket (parachute) style seat... this is same as the WWII 3" belt, but dated 1952....If you look in the F4U Pilots Manual, they describe this belt.. belt is in excellent condition, probably new old stock with the manufacturers stamps on it...lap belt measures about 52" long....this belt is 50+ years old and NOT safe for use!...belt is synthetic woven material as were most US belts by 1943.....complete lap/shoulder harness......$65

14-35-P-H-1.......... VOUGHT CORSAIR JUNIOR ....Apparently only one of these attractive biplanes was ever built...(you guessed it, this one here!)... an export version two seat version of th V-65, this plane was known as the V-100 and eventually sold to Mexico ...powered by 400 hp P&W with a listed top speed off 155 mph....... press release 8" by 10" ink stamp dated Feb 1935 with original newspaper caption glued on rear of photo...... good condition original from private collection .....few of us realize that Chance Vought had been in the US Navy Fighter/Attack business far before WWII, and was already using the 'Corsair' name, making the Corsair of WWII really the 'Corsair II'...attractive original and very obscure photo for Corsair enthusiasts......$19
