3-3-C-M-10 ...WACO CG-4 TROOP GLIDER LOAD ADJUSTER, WWII...Carried in every invasion glider at Normandy, this foot long slide rule is multi-color with sliding cursor which can be set to indicate if the aircraft is nose or tail heavy when loaded...troop use or cargo of jeep & howitzer with ammunition is shown...outline of the glider is shown on reverse...comes with original serial numbered leather case embossed in gilt "Property U.S. Government"...WWII saw the first & last use of invasion gliders, pioneered by the Germans in Belgium...Ol' Jon has obtained the last cache of these rare glider artifacts...better buy yours now...they'll all be gone forever soon...new old stock condition....$70.

AIRCRAFT RECOGNITION LIGHT PANEL, WWII.........Used in a variety of WWII combat aircraft including fighters like the P-47 and P-51, and bombers such as the B-17 and B-25.......a rectangualr box 3x3" with a set of toggle switches controlling 'recognition' colored lights on the exterior of the aircraft....used when returning from a night mission where the airfield operators watched for an enemy aircraft sneaking in the darkness, the pilot would signal with a pre-arranged set of colors and or a flashed code word on the lights....the toggles controlled the lights and a 'key' button for sending code words are on the box face....tag on side of case indicates it is a 1942 Air Corps part...........$45

5-20-C-M-10......US NAVY SNJ ENGINE DATA PLATE.......Original aluminum data plate as installed on the case of the Pratt & Whitney R-1340-AN-1 that powered the 'Texan' (AT-6) advanced trainers .....acceptance date 9-17-(19)42..........US Navy Anchor stamp........plate contains various information such as firing order, blower ratios, etc......measures about 2.5" by 3.5" in good used condition.........$35

BOEING B-29 FLAP INDICATOR ....Large 3 and 1/8" face diameter indicator model 8DJ17 sat prominently on the left side of the co-pilot's instrument panel (so the Captain could keep tabs on it too!) electrically indicated the degree angle of wing-flaps selected on the mighty 'SuperFort' ...many will agree this was the single most feared weapon of WWII when teamed up with its nuclear bombload.........own a piece of this mighty bomber ...have a few available all in very good condition......$59

7-15-C-M-10.....B-29 SUPERFORTRESS OPTICAL GUNSIGHT, WW11....This "Retiflector" optical gunsight was built for the AAF by Bell & Howell for use in the waist gun sighting stations in the B-29...the sight was used in conjunction with the aircraft Central Fire Control which would allow all the guns on the aircraft to be concentrated on a single target with devistating results as learned by several Japanese fighter pilots...size approx 8x8x3"...condition complete but shows age...$100

8-5-C-M-10.........LATE WWII AN-6530 PILOTS FLYING GOGGLES.......Early version -6530's had 'tube-type' ventilators affixed at top of frame for anti-fogging, while later styles such as these used the streamlined style, which was faster to build......quite original pair has nickel finish frame, correct late style one piece rubber face cushion, correct elastic goggle strap, clear glass American Optics lenses...... face cushion is still somewhat supple, although the headstrap has lost most elasticity..... clear lenses in very good condition as is frame, although frame could stand a good polishing (photos of these goggles are 'as found' before any cleaning)...frame marked Chase Fischer Spring Co, Brooklyn NY........$265

AN-6530 FLYING GOGGLE FACE CUSHIONS...For years now everyone who owns a set of the great military pilots goggles type AN-6530, have been searching for a replacement face cushion after the original wore out...at last they are available...made from mold of the originals and near exact duplicate including the chamois backing and sewn on metal retaininers...soft gray in color...look just like the wartime issue but made of better material and should last far longer...$85.

18-15-C-M-10....AN-6530 FLYING GOGGLE LENS SETS...Still wrapped in the 1942/45 dated tissue paper...we have one of the last stocks of unused lens sets available...these will not only fit the wartime AN-6530 goggles, but also the earlier type B-6 and B-7 as well as the civil American Optical designs of the 1930's... made of optically perfect ground and polished glass...mfg by A-O, LOF and B&L, these sets would run over $100. if mfg today.....we have Clear, Light Green at $25 per pair and Amber and Dark Green (Gunner Sky Lookout) at $ 40 per pair......better buy 'em while you can
