1-4-C-M-1.........DOUGLAS A-26 INVADER CONTROL WHEEL CENTER CAP..... I thought I had run out of these, but I fould a couple more....this is the plastic center cap that fits in the middle of the control wheel of the hot-rod Douglas A-26 Invader.....the plane was so good, we kept using it from WWII to 'Nam.....cap measures 2.75" across, and the center has a pictrure of the world with the Douglas World Cruisers flying around it & it states 'FIRST AROUND THE WORLD'....one of the more beautiful cap designs out there.....new old stock condition ..... ORIGINAL .......... ..........$145 each

****Look in the WWII era photo of the A-26 cockpit to see this cap on the control wheel. If you look at most photos of the A-26, you will notice this cap missing, since all it took was a flat blade screwdriver or a pocket knife to 'liberate' from the plane. It was a very popular souvenir of flight crews and ground crews!****
