MUROC MIRAGE NEWSPAPER, SATURDAY, 14 APRIL, 1945......For any of those who don't know Muroc Army Airfield, have you heard of Edwards Air Force Base?!.......Long before it was renamed Edwards AFB in 1949, the name of this lonely airfield was Muroc Army Airfield........this was its newspaper, printed twice monthly, composes of 4 pages measuring 18" by 12"........ covering all the local news, cartoons and schedules, these WWII era newspapers are very hard to find- mostly because if they weren't thrown out, they just fell apart on their thin paper........this one is in excellent condition and complete.......$15

5-56-C-C-6....HARDWOOD PROPELLER....From the era of flying off grass airfields...this five foot. ten inch prop was located in Ohio barn some years ago...no history with it but probably from light civil aircraft like a Cub or TaylorCraft...made of laminated hardwood with brass clad edges and tips for stone protection when flying from dirt airfields...shows age...which just gives it more character....you could refinish it...or just hang as is... the price... $395

Original Pratt and Whitney one year attendance award with trademark EAGLE emblem and blue porcelain filled background.....pin marked "Sterling" and "Balfour" on back side with pin-back style fastener....measures 1 and 3/8" across....very good condition.....original....circa WWII..........$35
