-22-C-C-5............GRAND CENTRAL AIRPORT CO. PLAQUE.......... In 1934 Major Corliss Moseley of WWI and Western Air Express (Western Airlines) fame leased the entire Glendale Municipal Airport from Curtiss Wright and formed Aircraft Industries, Inc. later in 1944 to be named Grand Central Airport Company when the airport was purchased outright by Moseley(and some years later yet Grand Central Aircraft Co.)........this was one of the meccas of general aviation with aircraft repair, engine overhaul, and dealer of several new aircraft.....plaque is an exact replica of the original in aluminum measuring 3.5" by 2" in new condition.....was one of these plates installed in your plane when sold or repaired at the Glendale Airport back in the '40's??.......'wow' the ever sophisticated Oshkosh crowd with one of these new cond. exact replicas in your plane...........$22
-52-C-C-5.......SWITLIK SAFETY CHUTE ......Last dated 1946, original, complete seat pack parachute......complete, as last packed in 1946, but the d-ring has been 'disarmed' (pin-pulled and safety-wired) so pack can be opened and parachute assembly viewed.......very original, good, used condition WWII era seatpack used by US Military and civilian alike.....type DS C4N... fake WWII era 'chutes cost more than this real one!....$275

-4-C-C-5........PILOT R.A.F. SERVICE WINGS CARVING .......Someone went to a lot of work to hand carve out these solid wood WWII RAF Pilots' wings.....measureing 7" across, these are very detailed with the RAF letters carefully and deeply carved out in the center and the 'Crown' above......intricate and in excellent condition, I don't have any other history on this item...would look great on your Spitfire framed photo....$20
-22-C-C-5.......RUSSIAN PE-2............ Solid cast aluminum model of whats looks to be the Russian Petlyakov twin engine bomber of WWII... wingspan is 10"......porous casting shows remarkable detail, with lines cut for control surfaces, windshield, etc... weighs about 1/2 pound......looks to have been hand filed to finish .......possibly a Russian ID model similar to US black resin ID models.......very good condition........$45
-12-C-C-5........LOCKHEED SERVICE RING.......From a retired Lockheed employee, this large man's ring fits either on the pinky finger or ring finger....looks like a size 10......... heavy stainless steel (I think) ring has gold Lockheed 'Shooting Star'winged emblem in the center......no other markings.......shows wear but undamaged and in very good condition.....you probably would only see one of these if you had been a Lockheed employee or if you knew one.....only one I have ever seen......original circa WWII......SOLD
