1-10-C-C-2.......NORTH AMERICAN AVIATION PROPERTY TAGS WWII...............North American moved to a 20 acre facility just North of the Los Angeles Municipal Airport in 1935 and proceeded to build more military aircraft than any other US manufacturer through 1967.....the P-51, B-25, F-86, AT-6, etc...............this tag is an original piece of aircraft aluminum attached to anything in the factory that was of concern....equipment, the boss's desk, and so on.....it could then be tracked through a numbering system.....each tag measures 1" by 1.75" on what feels and looks like .032 dural aircraft aluminum, probably scraps during P-51 production.....I have several tags each numbered differently all in good shape......genuine......$7 each
