SPITFIRE ARTWORK....Attractive stained wooden plaque with 'mounted' Sptifire......plane sits about 3/8" above plaque for a 3D effect.....detailed Spit. made of plastic, frame solid 1/2" thick wood, brass plaque tacked to bottom reads ' Spitfire Mk1'......reverse has information tag affixed that reads in part ' aircraft depicted flew with No. 610 (County of Chester) Squadron, Royal Auxillary Air Force, based at Biggin Hill. The serial number on the aircraft was obliterated in accordance with Air Ministry directives of may 1940'.....also marked on reverse 'made in England'.....measures about 7" by 18" in excellent condition......modern manufacture.....$15 |
5-12-C-C-1....RYAN AIRCRAFT FIRE FIGHTERS BADGE.... Worn as collar device by Ryan Aircraft Co. Fire Fighter...Ryan was large enough Co. in the late '30s and WW11 to have their own police and fire fighers at the San Diego plant....after the intense fame of lindy's trip in a Ryan, the company found itself producing a variety of aircraft in the 1930's such as the successful training design PT-22.....this 1 1/4 by 3/4 inch metal badge is finely detailed and quite a rare Ryan item...double clutchback fasteners...excellent condition...$75. |

6-9-C-C-1...CONSOLIDATED-VULTEE AIRCRAFT STERLING LAPEL PIN, 1940's....Awarded to valued factory workers after they had served ten years building Catalina flying boats & Liberator bombers (& later B-36s)... sterling silver lapel pin with the Consolidated "Eagle" logo in center over green cloisenne backgound...legend, "CONSOLIDATED VULTEE TEN YEARS" around rim...well made hallmarked screwback...have several as found on original mfg. cards when San Diego factory closed...each...$ 19. |

FIRST FLIGHT COVER ENVELOPE 1941 ......Commemorating the first US Airmail flight on Route #52, between Great Falls Montana and Lethbridge, Canada........ although this was only 161 mile flight, it covered Western Montana and Southern Canada.....letter has unique commerative rubber stamped mark, and was back dated Great Falls on June 12 at 5:30 PM, with front date in Shelby Montana at 2:30 PM, so things were moving along in a hurry that day...contract Route #52 was awarded to Western Air Express, operating DC-2's and DC-3's carrying passengers....letter in very good condition, stored in plastic....measures about 6.5" by 4" ..........$11

8-9-C-C-1........TRUAX FIELD AAF PILLOW CASE .....Sold at the base PX, pillow case measures about 16" by 16" with silk type (probably synthetic) cloth on front of case ....official AAF 'winged star' emblem with airport in background and formation of bombers flying overhead.........marked 'Army Air Force, Truax Field, Madison Wisc.' ........Truax was activated in 1942, named after Lt. Truax who was killed in a training accident in a Curtiss P-40.......case shows some chipping/peeling of embroidery where it was folded for the last 60 years, but in overall good condition........quite attractive original......$25 |

9-19-C-C-1......LOCKHEED DATA PLATE ......New blank reproduction metal data plate as what was used by Lockheed and riveted to the airframe of the PV-1 Harpoon, PV-2 Ventura, Lodestar, Electra, and possibly the P-38 Lightning.......a collector could not find any of these as originals and wanted one for his collection so he had a few made......this is one of them ......in new condition, measures 3.5" tall exactly as per original...aluminum plate with attractive black screening...just have this one for........SOLD |

10-1-C-C-1........ORIGINAL PRODUCE LABEL CIRCA WWII.........Packer TO Tomasello Co. of Watsonville CA sold the 'Dominator' brand and used this Patriotic paper shipping label to identify its product.......these produce labels have become quite collectable, and this would look attractive framed in your office.......paper label measures 7" by 9" in full color with reverse unmarked glue-paper (similar to the reverse of a unused old stamp).....slight sepia to reverse, but in excellent original condition, I purchased these in the Watsonville area.....have a few.....each......$6 |
