1-13-A-B-M-4....AIR CORPS SR BALLOON PILOTS WINGS, 1920/30'S....Embroidered wing emblem of U.S. Army Sr. Balloon Pilot...regulation three inch span on two by four inch tan twill cloth background...these are original regulation wings which were given to me some years ago by Duncan Campbell, noted aviator wing historian who served in the Air Corps in the '30s...a rare item as not many pilots achieved Sr Pilot status in the Balloon division of the Air Corps.....mint condition...SOLD |
