2-43-B-C-1........TOY METAL PLANE........Collectable cast iron plane painted red with silver stars on the wings.....prop turns and wheels spin.. radial engine, open cockpit hi-wing plane........no other markings....quite heavy for its size......just under a 4" wingspan......very good condition......$19
3-1-B-C-1......... BALTIMORE NEW POST ZEPPELIN NEWSPAPER HEADLINES, May 9, 1936.......Original newspaper sealed in plastic/cardboard......Hindenburg made headlines 'The Hindenburg Salutes Lower New York after Record Flight'........see in the photo the huge Zeppelin over the NY high rises......took 61 hours and 53 minutes to fly from Germany......most of us have forgotten this Zeppelin flew for a year before its disaster.......I have not removed this newspaper from its sealed plastic, but it appears complete.......original.....$16
5-29-B-C-1..."WINGS" CARDS, 1939/40'S ....Remember when your old man was smokin' Wings Cigarettes and you were glad because with each pack you got another Wings Airplane card...and you had to get fifty to finish the book furnished by the store owner...and then they had several series..."A" "B" "C" etc.etc...with both civil and military aircraft in full color with description on reverse of the 1/24 by 2 1/2" cards....now you can get the cards without the cancer sticks...we have several available in sets of 9 per, our choice, all good to very good condition in plastic protector.......$14 per set of 9 (the 9 are all different cards)

8-5-I-N-1..... HELL'S ANGELS MOVIE PROP ...... Reportedly this 'altimeter' was used in the studio prop instrument panel of the German Gotha Bomber for HELLS ANGELS.......I have not been able to positively verify this, but it is quite an interesting instrument, it appears to have started life as a late 1920's Jos. W. Jones 4" tachometer as what Waco, Travel Air and other aircraft manufacturers used......it was then modified with a hand re-painted face to resemble an altimeter, and the workings were removed and replaced with a lever in the rear of the case that allowed for.... 'manual movement' (from a hidden position behind the instrument panel?)......the instrument still works in this fashion.....case is dented, one screw is loose under the glass, but it is obviously an old modification.......We do know that Howard Hughes spent 3 years and $4 Million dollars on this 1930 epic, and there are scenes involving close-ups of the 'Gotha' (really a S-29 Sikorsky)...the crash scene of the real airplane was so dangerous that several real WWI pilots refused to fly the stunt, and the flight mechanic was killed when he failed to bail out..the fate of the studio prop is not known, but this instrument came from Hollywood area of California.......$195
